The youth are revitalizing the Podu Ros neighborhood.

The goal of the project, as its name suggests, was the revitalization of the Podu Roș neighborhood in Iași with the help of young people. The revitalization involved beautifying the urban space through a piece of community art, as well as bringing life to the area through activities held at the youth center, located at the intersection of three neighborhoods (Podu Roș, Nicolina and Bularga). These two areas of focus had long-term sustainable effects, adding value not only to the main target group - young people - but also to the broader community, thanks to the project's continuity.

We engaged local youth in the revitalization of the urban space through the following activities:

- Surveying the opinions of at least 100 young people from the community regarding what should be included in the mural (conducted by 10 young volunteers);

- Workshop: The Impact of Art in Public Spaces, attended by 17 young people;

- Involving the 17 young participants in the creation of the community artwork on the youth center, under the coordination of Harcea Pacea; Harcea Pacea;

- Inaugurating the community artwork (190 m²) through a final event, which included a presentation of the youth center, the project, its results, the mural and a concert performed by 10 young local artists.
